On May 12, 2025, the Scorpio Full Moon is burning through the sky at 22°, pulling us down into the depths and illuminating truths we’ve long buried. This is no gentle moon. This is a lunar reckoning ~ where what’s hidden must be revealed, and what’s stagnant must transform.
At this lunation, we stand between Taurus and Scorpio, the axis of holding on and letting go. Taurus craves stability, comfort, what we can touch and possess. Scorpio demands release, surrender, the stripping away of what no longer serves. Under this Full Moon, you may feel both the pull to cling and the ache to shed ~ and you must choose which voice to follow.
Pluto: The Shadow Ruler
Scorpio’s modern ruler, Pluto, is now retrograde in Aquarius, whispering from the underworld. Retrograde Pluto reminds us that the deep work isn’t out there… it’s within. Power dynamics, hidden fears, unconscious attachments are rising from below the surface, asking to be examined, transmuted, reclaimed. You may find yourself face to face with uncomfortable truths. This is shadow work, the work of evolution, and it’s sacred.
