Greetings fellow cosmic travelers! More BIG astrology arriving! Over the next two months, two powerful eclipses on the Virgo–Pisces axis will carry us through one of the most profound recalibrations of the year.
Eclipse season is always potent because the veils thin, exposing the hidden architecture of our lives. What lies beneath the surface, individually and collectively, surges up for integration. The New Moon does not stand alone…it is squared by Uranus, the cosmic awakener, bringing shocks, upheavals, and quantum leaps. Uranus jolts us out of complacency, destabilizing what we thought was fixed so that new pathways can emerge.
On the Virgo–Pisces axis, this square could play out through earth and water events such as seismic activity, flooding, or other sudden shifts in the natural world. The Earth herself is mirroring our own recalibration, cracking open where pressure has built too long.
But Uranus is also shaking us awake from more subtle earthquakes, the ones inside our habits and patterns. Under Pisces, the temptation is to check out, to numb ourselves with distraction or apathy. Virgo, by contrast, calls us back into the body as temple, reminding us that health and presence are paramount if we are to anchor new frequencies.
This lunation is a wake-up call: it is time to break the habits that dull our spirit, the routines that keep us asleep. Uranus pushes us to liberate ourselves from inertia, to embody our evolutionary edge instead of avoiding it. The discomfort is real, but so is the awakening.
The Power of the Portal
To stand at the threshold of eclipse season is to feel the pull of destiny. These are not ordinary weeks. Eclipses accelerate evolution, collapsing the old and ushering in the new. What might take years can transform in days.

This New Moon sets the stage for an extraordinary month. On September 7, we experience a Full Lunar Eclipse at 15° Virgo. Two weeks later, on September 21, a Solar Eclipse arrives at 29° Virgo.
It is rare to have two Virgo New Moons in one month – one at 0° (today’s initiation) and another at 29° (the completion). The first opens the portal and invites us to begin the work of realignment. The second will seal the month with a powerful completion, asking us to integrate the shifts we have made.
