Just wanting to get a pulse out there.. I think we can all feel the rising intensity on the planet and even though we have KNOWN this was coming, the ways in which the chaos ensues is never less shocking or disturbing.
We’re seeing floods, earthquakes, wildfires, and systemic breakdowns across the globe. The Earth is shifting. The sky is reflecting it. And all of us are being impacted physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Uranus Entered Gemini, Completing the Outer Planet Shift
On July 7, 2025, Uranus entered Gemini, becoming the fifth and final outer planet to change signs in this historic sequence. With that, the entire outer planetary field has shifted:
- Pluto into Aquarius: transforming power, systems, and collective structures
- Neptune into Aries: activating spiritual courage, leadership, and direct action
- Saturn into Aries: demanding accountability, independence, and self-mastery
- Jupiter into Cancer: amplifying themes of family, homeland, emotional security
- Uranus into Gemini: initiating rapid change in communication, technology, and collective thought
Each outer planet governs large-scale cycles and generational change. One planetary shift marks a collective threshold. All five shifting within this short window represents a total restructuring of how energy moves through the collective field. This is not business as usual. We are in an entirely new landscape.
Flood Disaster in Central Texas
While I had planned to share thoughts on the Uranus ingress right away, I needed to redirect my focus to the unfolding situation here in Texas.
On July 4, as Neptune stationed retrograde and Uranus stood at the ‘death’ degree of Taurus, catastrophic flooding hit Central Texas. In just 45 minutes, the Guadalupe River rose over 34 feet, overtaking roads, homes, and entire communities.
My family’s cabin in Hunt, Texas, which has been with us for over 90 years, was in the direct path. While the cabin survived, much of the surrounding community was devastated. More than 100 people lost their lives, and over 150 remain missing.

Retrograde Season: Architecting the New Dream from the Inside Out
This time of year is what astrologers call retrograde season. It is when several planets appear to move backward from our vantage point on Earth. While the term can sound negative or confusing, retrogrades are not setbacks. They are recalibrations. They turn our awareness inward and ask us to reflect, realign, and refine.
In the context of the massive outer planet shifts we are living through, retrogrades are essential. They slow down the forward push of change just long enough for us to ask: Are we building from truth? Are we carrying unconscious residue from the past into the new timeline? Are we moving forward with intention, or simply reacting?
Retrogrades bring us into architect mode. This is the season of reworking blueprints, reediting narratives, and reclaiming spiritual authorship of the dream we’re building. Below are the key players currently retrograde, each offering their own piece of the larger process.
Neptune Retrograde in Aries, Returning to Pisces
Neptune stationed retrograde on July 4 at 2° Aries and will move back into Pisces on October 22, remaining retrograde through December 10. This shift from Aries to Pisces signals a journey from the flame of vision back into the waters of source. Neptune in Aries asked us to act on what we dream. Neptune retrograde, dipping back into the final degrees of Pisces, now asks us to dissolve what is false. It is a return to spiritual truth. Illusions will be exposed. Escapism won’t work. This is an important clearing process before Neptune fully re-enters Aries in 2026 and remains there for the next 14 years.
Saturn Retrograde in Aries, Returning to Pisces
Saturn began its retrograde on July 13 and will move from Aries back into Pisces on September 1, continuing retrograde until November 27. Where Neptune asks us to surrender illusions, Saturn asks us to examine structure. Are the foundations we are building sustainable? Are we taking ownership, or simply performing control? Saturn’s return to Pisces slows us down to examine the energetic, emotional, and karmic residues that still shape how we relate to time, responsibility, and reality itself.

Mercury stationed retrograde today, July 17, at 15° Leo and will travel back to 2° Leo before going direct on August 11. This retrograde is a reset of the voice. In Leo, Mercury asks whether we are truly speaking from the heart or simply echoing performance. This is a time to realign with courage in communication, to review how we express ourselves in creative leadership, and to reclaim the integrity of our personal message.
Because Mercury is retrograding while Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are also in retrograde motion, its themes are not surface-level. They reach into the core of how we shape reality through language, memory, and narrative. This is a chance to recover truth where it has been hidden, and to lead not from ego, but from essence.
Mars Conjunct South Node in Virgo: Karmic Triggers and Eclipse Foreshadowing
Mars is now conjunct the South Node in Virgo, activating karmic material and bringing old patterns to the surface. Whenever a planet touches the nodes, fate is in play. With Mars, this can stir anger, frustration, control issues, or the urge to fix what cannot be perfected. The shadow of Mars in Virgo lashes out through over-analysis, burnout, or righteousness masked as service.
Take note of what’s coming up this week and next. These patterns may be previews of what’s to come during eclipse season in September, which brings a lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 7 and a solar eclipse in Virgo on September 21. The energy now is already echoing into that window. What you clear, confront, or release in this moment may shift the course of what’s to come.
